BOSTON: Around the globe, communities are fighting to protect their rights, their lands, and their very existence. In Southasia, as the pressures of systemic oppression mount, so does the power of people’s resistance. How do we bridge these movements and build collective solidarity for a better world?
Hosted by the Boston South Asian Coalition (BSAC) and the Southasia Peace Action Network (Sapan), this event features a panel of prominent activists, scholars, and journalists, including:

- Beena Sarwar – journalist, artist, filmmaker
- Somnath – activist and organizer
A community conversation with speakers who will report back from their recent stays in Bangladesh, Pakistan, and India, sharing firsthand accounts of grassroots struggles and resistance.
